On February 28, the HuZ Deutsche Schule Shenyang, under the supervision of the fire squadron of the Central South Street Fire Rescue Station in Jingkai District, Shenyang, organized a fire and earthquake evacuation drill. During the activity, Captain Liu of the Central South Street Fire Rescue Station taught the school teachers and students about the safety measures, and how to correctly deal with and evacuate in case of fire and earthquake.

The carnival at Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang allows students to practice their traditions and celebrate their own festivals in China. The essence of German education is reflected throughout the whole carnival from the careful preparation to the happy atmosphere on the day.

On Feb 19, a traditional but popular German-style curling game was held at the open square of the Conrad Hotel in Shenyang.

On November 4th, as one site of the Sino-French Environment Month, Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang was invited by the Consulate General of France in Shenyang to the opening ceremony of the 9th Sino-French Environment Month, and visited the "Colorful Nature" Sino-French Photography Exhibition together, enjoying the unique scenery and the wonders of the earth through the lens.

The encounter between winter and spring makes a year; the encounter between heaven and earth makes a world. Encounter is wondrous, and its beauty is also reflected by the unique “Encounter”project of Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang, which integrates Chinese and German education, opens up exchange platforms and participates in international programs. Our school was invited by the German Consulate Generalin Shenyang to the theme activity “China-Germany Encounter Moments in Culture, Education, Sports, Environment and Climate Protection”. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany, Lawrence Hübschmann, CEO of Hübschmann·Zhan Education Group, was invited to an interview to Xinhua News Agency to share his life, work and investment experience in China in the past ten years. In conjunction with the 20th CPC National Congress, Hübschmann·Zhan education group CEO, Mr. Lawrence Hübschmann gave interviews with Hong Kong newspapers Ta Kung Pao and Wen Wei Po, sharing his experience of living, working, and investing in Shenyang in the past 10 years, and expressing his hopes and wishes for China and Shenyang over the next 10 years.

During July-August 2022, Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang has successfully organized the "Young Spokesperson Event in Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of China-Germany Diplomatic Relations". As representatives from the only international school in this event, over 10 German students from our school attended the event as "Young Spokespersons" and were highly recognized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Liaoning Province and the Educational Department of Liaoning Province

On June 21, Hübschmann·Zhan School students made a unique career exploration of the diplomatic work in the consulate in a French-speaking environment.
