The Kite has a long history as one of China's intangible cultural heritages. People have always loved flying kites in the spring, and March is the best month to do this. Therefore, on March 23rd, both Chinese and German students of Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang took their kites to the playground, gathering together to fly the kites and enjoy this season of the year!
Before this activity, the students had colored their own kites under the instructions of their art teachers through a two-week course. The students unleashed their imagination and creativity by coloring the kites. They put their good wishes and dreams on the kites while having fun making their artistic creations.
The colorful kites were completed one after the other and hung in the corridor outside the classrooms for exhibition while they waited for their first flight.
It was a bright day when we were flying kites. The students walked out of the classroom to the playground and flew their kites in the spring breeze. Colorful kites adorned the sky, forming a beautiful spring scene. By flying the kites, we are enjoying our youthful times and flying our dreams up high!
Both students spent a happy day together cooperating and playing with each other in the activity. We hope that students can keep this enthusiasm to pursue and challenge various possibilities in the future in the same fashion they showed on this kite-flying day: keep running against the wind!
