On a pleasant spring morning, the teachers and students of Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang went to Qipanshan for spring outings. With the theme of "Embrace the Spring, Seize the Season", the spring outing gave students direct contact with the beauty and vitality of spring. Spring outings not only allow students to exercise their bodies but also cultivate their perseverance and awareness of cooperation.
After a school bus journey full of joy and laughter, our students were divided into 2 teams upon arriving at the Qipanshan. Primary school students and their teachers went to the Forest Zoo while the older middle school students and teachers went hiking on Yingtaoshan.
At the Forest Zoo, our students were able to observe the life of various wild animals, learn about their species and habits, and deepen their understanding of nature. When the pupils finally saw pandas in the zoo, they were all caught up in the cuteness of our national treasure. Animals are important to humans, and the awareness of respect and care for animals requires an early age cultivation. The close contact with animals not only broadens students’ views but also allows them to experience the diversity and wonders of nature.
The middle school students and teachers first took a group photo in the parking lot at the foot of Yingtaoshan and then started their mountain climbing journey. The beautiful flowers and plants took their attention off the hardships, hence everyone showed full energy. After reaching the top, the students had a rest in the Guanqiting Pavilion. Then in the pavilion, students had the chance to have a panorama view of the area and enjoy a sense of achievement.
After their respective journeys, the two teams gathered at the foot of the mountain and then had a picnic on the grassland in the dedicated camping area, enjoying a unique lunch in nature. It was our free time after lunch, students were throwing frisbees, playing football, and sitting on the grass drawing pictures. The smiling faces of teachers and students formed a scenery in Qipanshan.
On this spring outing day, students had the luxury of enjoying nature, learned about the importance of teamwork, and grew more expectations for the future. A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Let's look forward to our next trip~
