By a wonderful twist of fate, students from different countries and ages met at Hübschmann·Zhan School and created many memorable and touching moments here. On November 23rd, HuZ School students made special thanksgiving cards to express their gratitude to the world.

In this time full of innovation, don’t settle for a monotonous routine! Why not try your fancy ideas with your hairstyle? What kind of surprises will they bring? On November 7, 2023, the World Hair Day, everyone unleashed their creativity to design and showcase fancy hairstyles. Let’s be bold and start it from the “hair”!

Different languages and cultures shape different civilizations, which make up our colorful world. Civilizations interact through diversity, learn through interaction, and grow through learning. To promote the cultural exchange between China and Germany, Hübschmann Zhan School, the Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Provincial Government’s Foreign Affairs Office, and the German Consulate General in Shenyang, have jointly launched an activity on intangible cultural heritage. Through this activity, the students and parents of our school learned about Chinese traditions, made friends, and had fun while working with others.

On the afternoon of October 16th, Hübschmann Zhan School French teachers organized a film-screening activity for our Secondary students who are French or fans of French language.

The Taste Week is an annual event aimed at raising awareness among children and adults about the diversity of flavors. During this week, many activities are organized in French schools in France and around the world to celebrate gastronomy.

On October 13, 2023, the French Consulate General in Shenyang launched the 10th Sino-French Environment Month, with activities themed on “Vivre Autrement” (Living differently). Hübschmann·Zhan School has supported and participated in the Sino-French Environment Month for several years in a row and was invited to witness the exciting opening ceremony of “Vivre Autrement” on site.

Work together towards building the bridge between Sino-German culture and start a new journey of Sino-German education. On September 27th, the opening ceremony of our new campus was held officially! Hübschmann Zhan School students, parents, and teachers participated in this grand event to celebrate and witness a new chapter of our school.

Different lives under the same sky can be vastly different. In the remote mountainous areas, many children face a tough life because of the unfriendly environment. Uch is the case for the children living deep in the mountains of Daliang Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province. They only have old and thin clothes to put on every day, even though there is a large temperature difference between day and night on the plateau. They also have to help with a lot of farm and household work in their free time. But they don’t let their lack of backpacks, books, and bedclothes stop their dreams. They still wish to discover the world.

Our school has always attached great importance to campus safety education and continuously carries out various forms of activities in this regard. We have just moved to the new campus and needed to get familiar with every emergency escape route in the new environment. The first fire and earthquake drill in the 2023-2024 academic year was carried out. Let’s review what was accomplished.

On August 29th, our new Grade 1 students had a special day.   The second day of each school year is the traditional first-year pupil welcoming day at Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang. Families from different countries have joined our school community. Teachers and senior students prepared a wonderful welcoming ceremony to help the new students feel at home in our school!

The new school year at Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang began on August 28, with students rejoicing in their reunion on the first day of the new term. This day also marked the official opening of our new campus, a beautifully designed and exquisite campus that can offer a new learning and living environment with unlimited possibilities for teachers and students!

Recalling the 2022-2023 academic year of Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang, what impressed students deeply was the sense of achievement after studying hard, the flash of inspiration in activities on and off campus, the sweat they shed in various sports, the wonderful experience in Chinese and German holidays, and the exhibition of project week works themed on World Tour.
