On December 1, 2023, a wonderful Friday night, the Hübschmann·Zhan School Student Choir was invited to perform at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony of the Grand Hyatt Shenyang. Representatives of various consulates in Shenyang, parents of HuZ School students, and guests from different backgrounds attended this ceremony. People from diverse countries and cultures came together to enjoy the Christmas festivities and the exchange of cultural experiences.
Before the official start of the performance, the HuZ choir members arrived early at the Grand Hyatt Shenyang to familiarize themselves with the stage. They rehearsed and checked the instruments meticulously. The Grand Hyatt also generously provided an interactive theater and a delicious dinner buffet for the students. After the dinner, everyone made final preparations in the exclusive lounge before the performance.
We felt so proud of our HuZ Student Choir, whose confidence and adorable singing melted the hearts of every audience member. Each note expressed the students’ love for music and their passion for art. This was not only a musical treat, but also a sharing of cultures. By working and communicating together, the students learned more about different cultures. This performance reflected our original vision of international education and expanded it. It was another example of our ultimate goal to cultivate more outstanding talents with a global perspective. Christmas brought not only happiness, but also endless possibilities!
