On June 21st, we celebrated World Music Day. Our 3rd graders created an English newspaper themed around music, under the guidance of their teacher, Kealan.
The oral exams for the MSA exam were scheduled for the last week of May. After the written exams in February, this was the last challenge for getting an MSA certificate.

The time spent turning pages seems to fly by, from the moment you pick up a book until you reluctantly put it down. On April 23rd, in celebration of World Book and Copyright Day, students from Hübschmann·Zhan School organized a book exchange event. The aim being to share cultural insights across borders and delve into the deeper meaning of life.

Have you ever noticed the iridescent beauty of bubbles in sunlight? How about the fun of blowing bubbles and using them to create unique pictures? At Hübschmann·Zhan School, students explored these experiences in a world-wide art activity, displaying their bubble paintings in a clothes-line themed exhibition.
The opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be held on July 26th, 2024, which will be a grand sports event to deepen exchanges and friendship among countries around the world. This significant sports event aims to strengthen bonds and foster friendships among nations worldwide. During the Olympic and Paralympic Week (Semaine Olympique et Paralympique; SOP), a week-long celebration dedicated to promoting sports among youth and spreading Olympic values in education, Hübschmann·Zhan School joins schools globally in holding activities in celebration of this event.
We left Shenyang with excited hearts and made our way to the destination, Shanghai.
During the immersive fire prevention and earthquake prevention drills, the students of Hübschmann·Zhan School also conducted an interesting Q&A on fire safety to become fire safety knowledge experts!

What is Pi Day? Pi Day, celebrated on March 14th (3.14), is an international mathematics festival. It honors the mathematical constant π (Greek letter “π”), which represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter (approximately 3.14). On this day, teachers at Hübschmann·Zhan School organized a mathematics exploration session for Chinese and German students. Together, they delved into mathematical concepts, creating a rich cross-cultural learning environment!
On March 7th, with the support of the French Consulate General in Shenyang, we had the honor of hosting the acclaimed French Slam Poetry artis, George Ka, at our school. George Ka, known for her evocative performances and passionate flow, graced our stage and dove into a captivating workshop about composing poetry with our students.
On March 6, 2024, Hübschmann·Zhan School held a "PASCH School" awarding ceremony. Mr. Hendrik Barkeling, Consul General of the German Consulate General in Shenyang, Ms. Beate Kayser, Consul and interpreter of the German Consulate General in Shenyang, and Ms. Stefany Henderson, Director of Central Agency for German Schools Abroad in the North China region, attended the ceremony together to award the "PASCH School" plaque and make a visit to the DSD educational project of our school.
