On the path of charity, “perseverance” is never just a promise—it’s built through daily action, year after year. For Hübschmann·Zhan School, that spirit has endured for seven years. Each year, our Charity Run has become more than just a sports event that brings people together—it’s a living act of kindness, spreading warmth and compassion through meaningful giving.

Over time, the Charity Run has connected our students and staff through shared care and generosity, turning their goodwill into real, practical support for others. More importantly, it has planted in our children’s hearts the values of perseverance and service, helping the spirit of love grow through genuine action.

The 2025 Charity Run once again showcased the dedication and generosity of our students, teachers, and parents. Every stride carried strength, and every step brought hearts together in kindness. The funds raised have become a powerful source of warmth and support for children without parental care.

To ensure this help reached those who needed it most, Hübschmann·Zhan School partnered with the Shenyang Welove Public Service Center to carefully prepare both learning materials and daily essentials—windproof jackets, soft blankets, colorful markers, and cheerful board games. Each item was chosen with care to bring comfort in winter and to brighten spirits with color and joy.

To protect the privacy of the children, the school chose a quiet, personal approach. Instead of a public ceremony, our principals personally visited the homes of the children to deliver the donations. Staff from the Welove Public Service Center shared insights into the children’s lives and needs, along with heartfelt stories of the community’s ongoing support.

Deeply moved by the effort and thoughtfulness behind the donations, the organization presented the school with a certificate of appreciation and an honorary banner—symbols of gratitude and partnership. Beyond their formality, these tokens represent a quiet, enduring relay of love and trust, where kindness is passed from one heart to another.

The subsequent home visits made this support tangible. During the visits to the children's homes, the principals saw firsthand the children's longing for care and companionship. The two children had been waiting by the door since early on, and eagerly shared stories about their studies and daily lives. Though growing up without parents, they are nurtured with love by their grandmother—their optimism and resilience in life left a deep impression on everyone present.

The visit was filled with laughter as we played board games together. The room came alive with joy—echoes of play, smiles, and warmth. We helped the children into their new jackets, handed them cozy blankets, and reminded them to stay warm. When we gave them the markers, we encouraged them to draw their dreams and the world as they see it. As we said goodbye, the children softly expressed their wish for another visit soon—a simple, pure hope that reminded us that charity is not only about giving things, but about sharing time, care, and emotional connection.

Being there in person gave everyone a deeper understanding of what it truly means to pass on kindness. Carrying the compassion of our entire community, Hübschmann·Zhan School continues to bring warmth wherever it’s needed—turning the love from our Charity Run into real, visible change. Our commitment to giving back has never stopped at one cause.

Beyond supporting children in need, the school will continue to extend its care to other communities—including providing aid and comfort to stray animals. From helping vulnerable children to protecting the lives of animals on the streets, every Hübschmann·Zhan initiative under “HuZ Cares” is guided by one belief: that even the smallest act of kindness can become part of a greater force for change.
