On May 24, 2025, the campus of Hübschmann·Zhan School transformed into an interactive space for forward-looking discussions. The very first HuZ FutureDay – Your Compass for Work and Studies offered students and interested parents a unique opportunity to gain concrete insights into educational and career paths – in dialogue with experts from universities, companies, and institutions.

Opening: Courage to Decide – Openness to Possibilities

The opening ceremony made it clear what the day was about: curiosity, clarity, and the courage to shape your own future. Head of School Mike Liu, HuZ Group CEO Lawrence Hübschmann, and Education Officer of HuZ Education Group Lars Bauer emphasized the importance of individual guidance and lifelong learning. Their message:

“There is not one single goal – but many possible directions. And not the perfect answer – but the right questions and new ideas.”

HuZ School positions itself as a bridge between cultures, educational systems, and life paths – aiming to help each student grow through diversity and personalized support.

Insights from the forefront– Unlocking Academic and Career Directions

A key feature of the event: many lectures and workshops were held in German, English, and Chinese – reflecting the multilingual and international nature of HuZ School.

Highlights included:

• Loïc Littmann-Louvet from the French Higher Education Office at the Consulate General in Shenyang

• Dr. Feng Yutian (Zhejiang University)

•and representatives from Li Auto, Beijing Yingke, the German Chamber (AHK), and  BBA

Through contributions from top universities, families received valuable insight into global study opportunities – from RWTH Aachen to DUFE Dalian. Also present: KIT, University of Jena, BayChina, University of Surrey, Université Paris Cité, Burgundy School of Business, and various language and business institutions.

Learning by Doing: Hands-on Career Orientation

At the heart of HuZ-FutureDay was real dialogue. Over 20 organizations hosted booths – including Herbart German Culture Association, Li Auto, UniTree, Beijing Yingke Law Firm, BBA, LuoYang Grasen, Malo Clinic, Speedwell, Huber+Suhner, China Merchants Bank, and Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Students were encouraged not only to ask questions but to explore professions through live demos – such as auto components, first aid simulations, and conversations with professionals from the field.

Universities drew particular interest: many students used the opportunity to ask specific questions about applications, program choices, and study requirements – on an individual level and at eye level.

Workshops & Practice: Discovering Your Potential

Students also participated in interactive workshops – practicing interview techniques, résumé writing, and testing out creative professions such as jewelry design, model construction, and multilingual communication. Many discovered new interests or realized which direction might suit them best.

“HuZ-FutureDay” – The Journey Continues

HuZ Future Day was far more than a further education and career fair. It was a day of dialogue, inspiration, and new perspectives – right at the heart of our school community.
