Using language as a bridge, classic poems take on new life through multilingual performance. On March 27, Hübschmann·Zhan School held a poetry reading event to celebrate World Poetry Day, immersing students in the beauty of language and helping them connect with the heartfelt emotions behind the words.
The event featured a dynamic blend of three languages -Chinese, English, and French- each adding its own layer of richness and expression. The gentle grace of Chinese poetry, the fluid rhythm of English verse, and the romantic depth of French poems came together in a rich tapestry of sound and meaning. As the rhythms of different languages intertwined, linguistic boundaries faded, opening the door to new interpretations. Through this multilingual experience, students grasped the emotional core of the poems more deeply, and their recitations were vividly expressive.
The shared emotional resonance behind the words allowed poetry to take root on campus, quietly nurturing the hearts and minds of every young learner.
Die gemeinsame emotionale Resonanz hinter den Worten ermöglichte es der Poesie, auf dem Campus Wurzeln zu schlagen und still und leise die Herzen und Gedanken jedes jungen Lernenden mit Inspiration zu erfüllen.
