Safety is no small matter—learning essential skills can be enjoyable too! HuZ School strictly implements safety management requirements and held its regular semester fire drill on March 17. Unlike previous drills, this one not only included standard earthquake and fire evacuation exercises, but also featured a fun interactive session on how to treat ankle sprains. This brought safety knowledge to life, allowing students to learn practical self-help skills in a lively and engaging atmosphere.
As the urgent alarm broke the calm of the campus, all teachers and students quickly sprang into action. Under the organized guidance of their teachers, students evacuated swiftly and orderly to designated safe areas. After the evacuation, teachers checked attendance and reviewed the procedures, reinforcing key safety tips.
After the drill, the most anticipated session began: first aid for ankle sprains. Considering that students can easily twist their ankles during daily activities and sports, teachers provided an immersive lesson on how to handle such injuries calmly and correctly.
Teachers demonstrated a simulated sprain scenario, showing how to apply cold compresses and properly use bandages. The interactive part was especially lively—students were invited on stage to practice bandaging themselves. Laughter and discussion filled the air as everyone learned these useful skills through hands-on experience.
One drill, multiple benefits! Students not only strengthened their earthquake and fire emergency response skills, but also learned how to deal with ankle injuries in a relaxed and practical way. The school always places student safety first and regularly organizes engaging safety activities to ensure that safety awareness takes root in the hearts of every teacher and student.
