Zhejiang University and Huebschmann-Zhan Education Group Successfully Host the 2024 Shenyang Forum on the Construction and Practice of “‘Internationalization at Home’ in the Engineering Education System”
Zhejiang University and Hübschmann·Zhan Education Group joined forces to successfully organize the 2024 Shenyang Forum, focusing on the construction and practice of “‘Internationalization at Home’ in the Engineering Education System.”
The Forum provided an impactful platform to promote Sino-German cooperation in engineering education and foster cultural exchange between China and Germany. By prioritizing intercultural dialogue, it highlighted the importance of shared innovation and mutual understanding in strengthening bilateral relationships. During the event, Zhejiang University conferred the title of “Engineering Education Practice Base” to the Hübschmann·Zhan School, followed by an unveiling ceremony.
Participants enjoyed a guided tour of the Hübschmann·Zhan School before attending a specialized workshop addressing engineering talent education at the K-12 level. School principals collaborated with experts from Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University, and the Liaoning Education Bureau to explore strategies for cultivating future engineering talent. This collaborative session offered valuable insights and fostered partnerships to inspire the next generation of innovators.
The 2024 Shenyang Forum underscored education’s pivotal role in building a globally interconnected and technologically advanced future.
