There are still many people who cannot run freely in the sunshine.
What we measure with our feet is not only the distance we run, but also the love and care we bring to those in need.
On May 27th, the 2023 Charity Run was lunched. It’s another practice of HuZ Cares, the public voluntary project of Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang. As in all our previous events, the funds raised this time will be used for various public welfare projects that the school has always been supporting. We will keep reports and records of the implementation of each project.
“Ready, go!”
With a command, the students rushed to the track like arrows released from a bow. The constant cheers and applause motivated the runners. Although feeling a little bit tired during the charity run, the runners gladly kept running because they knew that every meter they ran could help to raise funds for the people in need, and every step they made could be meaningful.
With the cheers of the successful completion of the charity run, the fun competitions began. There were not only individual events but also family challenges among the 10 competitive stations. The intense competition among students and the cooperation between families showed us their sportsmanship and the spirit of never giving up. We can also see what a good team we can make when the teachers, students, and parents are united as one.
What we spread through the charity activities are hope, love and strength. We will never stop our public benefit efforts. Taking advantage of our educational and cultural advantages, our school will support students' participation in charity activities and social services, and pass on kindness through international friendship, making the voluntary activities a practical course for students!
Some very exciting news is that after a week of sorting and calculating, the 2023 Charity Run raised a total of 72717 yuan creating a new high for our school’s annual charity run fundraising! We believe that with our increasing efforts, more and more people in need will get help. HuZ Cares will keep moving forward with the support from the members of our big HuZ family!
