“HuZ has you, HuZ has me, growing up so happily. Learning together, growing together, shining in our hearts.” Singing the Song of HuZ, we welcomed our old friends to our school: Consul General Matthias Biermann of the German Consulate General in Shenyang and his colleagues.
As we sang in the song, the German Consulate General in Shenyang has been working with our school in various areas such as education, culture, and Sino-German exchanges. In the China-Germany Encounter school, we also explored the beauty of a different culture together.
Mr. Biermann came to our school not only to visit us, but also to give prizes to the ten students who won the Buddy Bear Painting Contest. We watched a video at the ceremony that showed us how the students made their Buddy Bears, from sketching their designs to coloring their sculptures. The Consul General gave each winner a prize and praised everyone for their work. He also told us that the German Consulate General in Shenyang would keep all the winning works.
As a representative of the education sector in “International Shenyang”, Hübschmann·Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang will provide more and more global opportunities and international perspectives for students through ongoing cultural exchange. We look forward to the day when our students achieve great success and meet each other at the top!
