On a beautiful Saturday, June 19th, 2021, the HuZ Sports Sommer Festival 2021 that had been awaited and planned for a long time, was able to be held up on the large Campus in Shenyang Tiexi.
It started with an emotional farewell party, musically accompanied by our students of the Chinese 1st and 2nd grade, the One Minute Band and the school band as well as the school choir, for the leaving students and the teachers who are now going back to Germany and Austria at the end of the school year. Hosted by the deputy headmaster Benjamin Posch and with the speeches of the headmasters Raphael Hillisch and Mike Liu as well as the school investor Lawrence Hübschmann, warm words and small gifts were given to all graduates.
Then we went to the sports field, where the charity run of the German and Chinese primary school and secondary school took place. Then again there was space for chats, games and fun at numerous stations such as bouncy castle, tattoo station, sack races, bowling and much more. In addition, the school community had the opportunity to make donations for the Xiluo village at the donation station. Finally, the evening ended with buffet, award ceremony and cozy get-togethers inside and in front of the school canteen.
Many helpers, school leaders, school administrators, parents and teachers were, as always, participate in this event behind the curtains, to whom we would like to thank sincerely. A successful summery-hot end of the school year, which was certainly lots of fun, especially for the children.
