Time passes, yet friendship endures. This year marks the third year of the student exchange program between Hübschmann·Zhan School and the German Gymnasium Bad Zwischenahn-Edewecht (GZE). Every gathering over the past three years has brought unique surprises and heartfelt moments. With students from GZE paying another visit to Shenyang this year, the cross-border friendship has deepened further, forging strong bonds between young learners from both countries.
Learning together, Growing together
Chinese and German students studied side by side in international courses. The seamless integration of teaching philosophies and curricula from both schools shone through these sessions. A wide range of courses inspired all participants, enabling them to learn from one another and progress together.
Embrace Traditions, Savour Chinese Charm
Chinese culture served as a wonderful bridge in our featured activities. The German students immersed themselves in traditional Chinese experiences: paper-cutting, dumpling-making, learning to use chopsticks and tie-dyeing. A friendly football match also added joy to the cultural exchange. The GZE students showed great appreciation for traditional Chinese culture.
Explore Shenyang and Diverse Cultures
Off-campus activities were equally rewarding. Our German guests toured Shenyang Imperial Palace, enjoyed immersive theme parks, tried drone operation, visited an ice cream museum, explored industrial technology at the BMW plant, and gained an in-depth experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine. These diverse experiences left everyone with lasting memories.
Looking Forward to Another Reunion
The ten-day stay was fulfilling yet fleeting. Each day brought new experience and precious friendship.
This exchange has been more than a meeting of cultures and education, it is a symphony of youth echoing across thousands of miles. We look forward to our next reunion. May our friendship stay evergreen, and may our path of exchange grow wider with every step.
