Reading a book is like taking on a marvelous adventure to an unexplored world with each page bringing surprises. The time spent turning pages seems to fly by, from the moment you pick up a book until you reluctantly put it down. On April 23rd, in celebration of World Book and Copyright Day, students from Hübschmann·Zhan School organized a book exchange event. The aim being to share cultural insights across borders and delve into the deeper meaning of life.
During the book exchange process, students enthusiastically placed their favorite books into the "drifting" lineup. The exchange of books allowed students to experience the charm and power of literature. What's more meaningful is that in our culturally blended campus, students have the opportunity to access the mysteries of books in languages such as German, English, Chinese, and French.
The book exchange was not just a means of passing on knowledge but also fostering emotional connections among classmates. Several students took the initiative to elucidate the worth and importance of their "drifting" books, offering distinctive perspectives, insightful reflections, and shared laughter that showcased the benefits and development students experienced through their reading journey.
The meaningful book exchange allows more idle books to circulate among different readers once again. Through such book exchange activities, we breathe new life into books. Let’s continue to share the infinite power of reading!
