Mathematics is a universal language that transcends national borders. From March 19 to 21, HuZ School remained committed to providing a platform for academic support and shared learning by successfully hosting a three-day Math Camp. Using mathematics as a bridge, the event brought together talented young minds from around the world and launched an inspiring journey of international academic and cultural exchange.
This year’s Math Camp attracted teachers and students from Shanghai, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, and other cities. Participants from diverse cultural backgrounds came together through their shared passion for mathematics, bringing energy, diversity, and fresh perspectives to the program.
Throughout the academic sessions, outstanding teachers from different countries led specialized lectures and interactive workshops that extended beyond traditional classroom learning. By exploring mathematical concepts from multiple perspectives and illustrating them through real-life examples, the teachers transformed abstract ideas into engaging and accessible learning experiences. These sessions not only sparked students’ curiosity and enthusiasm for mathematics but also encouraged valuable exchanges of teaching practices, helping students broaden their academic horizons and sharpen their analytical thinking.
The camp also featured a variety of engaging interactive activities, where academic learning and cultural exchange naturally came together. Students from different countries worked collaboratively in teams to solve mathematical problems, strengthening their practical problem-solving abilities while learning to appreciate cultural diversity. By sharing mathematical traditions, learning strategies, and perspectives from their own backgrounds, participants truly embodied the spirit of “making friends through mathematics and building connections through learning.”
At its core, Math Camp is dedicated to promoting international academic and cultural exchange and to providing a platform for young people with mathematical talent and passion to connect and grow. Beyond gaining knowledge and developing skills, participants built lasting friendships across borders and experienced firsthand the values of academic collaboration, mutual learning, and cultural inclusiveness.
