At HuZ School, the beginning of March is never simply about “returning to school.” It is a joyful convergence of the vibrant start of a new semester and the warmth of the Lantern Festival. The entire campus is wrapped in an atmosphere of warmth and celebration.
A “Prosperous” First Day of School
On March 2, warmth was already in the air at the school gate. The principal personally handed each student a special blessing upon entering campus.
“May your studies flourish and reach new heights!”
“May you stay healthy and full of energy!”
Each heartfelt wish from the principal became the most touching opening line of the new semester. May all students in the Year of the Horse charge ahead with confidence and enjoy prosperity in all they do.
Joyful Celebration of the Lantern Festival
On March 3, we celebrated the Lantern Festival. On this day, the campus transformed into a grand celebration of traditional Chinese culture.
Rolling glutinous rice balls, sharing “Hundred Blessings” rice, solving lantern riddles, paper cutting, New Year woodblock printing… These rich intangible cultural heritage experiences brought the beauty of traditional Chinese culture vividly to life on campus.
Laughter and joy carried the warmth of reunion, as Chinese and international students alike experienced the charm of tradition together. In this moment of cultural exchange between East and West, there were no borders on campus—only shared beauty and common blessings.
The early spring at HuZ School is destined to be extraordinary. In the new semester, may every student carry hopes for learning and confidence in their cultural identity, embrace diversity, and grow on this fertile ground of Sino-German exchange into young individuals with warmth, vision, and a strong sense of responsibility.
