As winter days approach, the festive spirit at school grows increasingly vibrant. In this season of joy and harmony, we celebrated the much-anticipated Christmas Carnival – a day eagerly awaited by our children every year. This day is not just about celebration but also a moment to share love and warmth.
The Christmas Carnival began with a delightful choir performance by the children, whose innocent voices conveyed their excitement and anticipation for Christmas. Orchestra performances, German songs, English songs, Christmas dances... The entire campus was immersed in a lively and festive atmosphere. The laughter and applause of the children echoed throughout, kicking off this grand Christmas feast with joy.
As the celebration unfolded, the diverse Christmas activity stations captivated the children’s attention. From Christmas movie screenings to making Christmas apples, listening to Christmas stories, playing candy-clash games, and Christmas crocheting – over ten fun and engaging activities allowed everyone to experience the warmth of Christmas in an interactive and playful way. These activities not only entertained the children but also helped them learn and embrace the true meaning of Christmas.
The essence of Christmas, however, lies beyond these joyful activities in the heartfelt tradition of exchanging gifts. Ahead of the celebration, the students drew lots to determine the recipient of their gift. With genuine care and anticipation, they thoughtfully selected and carefully wrapped their presents. On Christmas Day, they handed these gifts to their peers, expressing friendship and respect. In our school, where students from all over the world come together, the diversity of cultural backgrounds and unique charms merged into a shared celebration of Christmas. Each gift exchange turned the entire campus into a warm and loving family.
