As the only German School in the northeastern part of China, Hübschmann Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang has built an bridge of for China-Germany education exchange, where students and teachers from the two countries can communicate and learn from each other. Our school is so honored to be invited by the German Consulate General in Shenyang to the theme activity “China-Germany Encounter Moments in Culture, Education, Sports, Environment and Climate Protection” and hold an colored drawing challenge game together!
Buddy Bear symbolizes tolerance, peace and international understanding. Its sculpture appears all over the world in various patterns with its hands held to the sky! This activity is centered on the artistic creation of colored drawing of "Buddy Bear" to show the collision of rich and colorful cultures. With this open platform for exchange, teachers led our students to learn about the story of Buddy Bear in Germany and its significance for the friendly ties between the two countries. Thus, this Buddy Bear becomes as a link to promote more in-depth encounters between China and Germany.
Students all found pleasure drawing their own Buddy Bears. Every piece of work reflects students' understanding and cognition of Chinese culture, German culture and the world. The unique color matching, combined with the symbolic elements of China and Germany, interprets students’ beautiful vision of Chinese-German friendship. We hope their original "Buddy Bear" works could appear in various corners of the world and continue to serve as the ambassadors of the Encounter idea of Hübschmann Zhan Deutsche Schule Shenyang and of the China-Germany friendship!
