On November 4th, Ms. Anne Rulliat, French Consul General in Shenyang, Karine Aumont French Deputy Consul General in Shenyang, Elodie FRANCO-RITZ, Consul of Education and Culture Cooperation, Peng Meng, Project Officer of Science and Higher Education Cooperation, and Wang Qiang, Head of Promotion and Overseas Study Guidance Department, visited HuZ School for the Achievement Exhibition of Environmental Protection Week in the 8th "Sino-French Environment Month" at Hübschmann Zhan School.
The leaders of HuZ School extended a warm welcome to the French consulate delegation. They gave a brief introduction to the development of our French Section and our French courses. Meanwhile, HuZ School also expressed our hope to establish a Sino-French communication platform for students and schools in the two countries. With the French consulate, further internationalizing the School.
While visiting the students and teachers of our French Section, Ms. Anne Rulliat cordially asked about their study, work, and living conditions. The children had a great time sharing their learning experiences and results with the delegation. The Consul General appreciated the excellent education and teaching resources we provide and encouraged the students to learn more about French culture and language. Later on, A "HuZ School Song" performed jointly by Chinese and French students warmed up our exhibition site of "Sino-French Environment Month."
HuZ School launched several subjects during the Environmental Protection Week. Through classroom activities such as musical, craftwork, and escape rooms, our students were touched by the beauty of ecology. So they developed an ecological civilization concept of protecting nature, which coincides with the idea of cherishing earth resources advocated by the "Sino-French Environment Month." The French consulate delegation and school leaders watched the short films of the Environmental Protection Week together. As one of the stations in the "Sino-French Environment Month," HuZ School also appeals to students' interest in biodiversity through teaching and introducing to them the organisms living under the soil. In this way, students can learn about the world, feel nature, and protect the environment in practice, hence developing a good habit of caring for the environment since childhood.
The French Consulate in Shenyang is committed to deepening the cooperation between China and France in various fields. The integration and exchange in cultures could be the firm foundation and guarantee. HuZ School hopes to raise the education cooperation with the French General Consulate in Shenyang to a higher level and make substantive progress in exchanges and cooperation with French schools.
