On October 15, 2021, Hübschmann Zhan School was invited by the French Consulate General in Shenyang to the opening ceremony of the 8th "Sino-French Environmental Month", Northeast Station.
With environmental protection at its core, Sino-French Environment Month was started in 2014 and is carried out nationwide. It focuses on environmental issues such as climate change, urban migration, and biodiversity. Sino-French Environment Month aims to improve people’s awareness of environmental issues and extend the cooperation between the two countries in the field of environmental protection. The theme of the 2021 Sino-French Environment Month is: Resources of the Earth. This event will focus on the current challenges faced by mankind: how to balance the earth's ecological capabilities and the development demand of human.
The opening ceremony kicked off with the poster exhibition of the French "The Parisianer, chronicles of our planet". Under the witness of Chinese and French guests who are committed to environmental protection and cultural exchanges, the Tree of Life symbolizing the opening of the event was officially lit. At the opening ceremony, Ms. Anne Rulliat, Consul General of the French Consulate-General in Shenyang, delivered a speech, starting the Environmental Month activities of Northeast Station officially .
HuZ School is also constantly guiding students to pay more attention to topics with a global perspective such as environmental protection and public welfare, which coincides with the intention of the "Sino-French Environment Month". After learning of the success of our environmental protection project week, the French Consulate also selected our school as one of the stops in the activities of the Month.
The elementary section of our school will quote the Sino-French Environment Month theme in our daily courses: "Life Hidden in the Soil", seven-family card game, leading children to learn the environmental protection knowledge about soil and insect while gaming. There are also various exhibitions on insects and minerals available in Shenyang. Ms.Anne Rulliat, Consul General of the French Consulate General in Shenyang, and her team members have been invited by the French Section of our school to view the exhibition of our environmental protection project week early in this semester.
Children are the future and the next masters of our world. Before they take on the responsibilities for the future, we should help to get them prepared! HuZ School, education starts deep from the heart.
