This summer, the Hübschmann Zhan International School Shenyang realized an adventure summer camp together with Herbart Deutscher Kulturverein. Chinese and German children spent an unforgettable time together.
In the first two days, the children acquired a new learning method together - documenting the daily routine with the journal: In the journal they can record and sort information in an appealing way for all senses, thus improving their learning efficiency considerably. At the same time, the students explored a variety of ways to design their journal individually and with all their senses.
During these two days, the students not only improved their language skills, but also learned about more effective and intuitive methods of learning, recording and sorting data. Learning at HuZ is fun and combines the most central and effective methods of the two educational nations China and Germany, which focus on the mental development of children and at the same time promote the acquisition of knowledge and skills.
In five days we have become outdoor adventurers who are brave and ready to challenge their limits! There was exciting jungle and cave exploration, wonderful camping under the stars and physical and mental obstacles to overcome as well as mutual support. Together we experienced many unforgettable moments.
It was a student's birthday during the camp. He was surprised by the campers with a cake and a party. It was great fun.
Truly boredom could not arise. The children continued to develop through language games in the morning, exchanging experiences and writing journals in the evening. No matter how hard the theory is, only through practice can a better and deeper understanding be achieved.
Even the most beautiful summer camp will pass by. The children have made friendships across languages and cultures, researched new learning methods and gained a sense of achievement.
