On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany, Lawrence Hübschmann, CEO of Hübschmann·Zhan Education Group, was invited to an interview to Xinhua News Agency to share his life, work and investment experience in China in the past ten years. The interview was broadcast on Hamburg 1.
Mr. Hübschmann said that he would do his part to help enhance the mutual understanding and relations between China and Germany.

Mr. Hübschmann founded the HuZ Group together with his long-term friend and current business partner Zhan Yiming in the northeastern Chinese city of Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province, in 2017 to explore new opportunities.
Long before Hübschmann's enterprise developed gradually in the burgeoning Chinese market, he encountered the fascinating Chinese culture and recognized the country's almost untapped economic prospects.
"My father established a joint venture in Hong Kong in 1978, and he gave me an opportunity to start my own business in China," Hübschmann said. "My family is quite familiar with China and traditional Chinese culture, which filled me with curiosity about the country."
Hübschmann's entrepreneurial endeavor in China was immensely successful. He founded an international school in Shenyang, which was officially certified by the German education ministry in 2021.
China's education industry boasts distinguished inclusiveness, in which both the traditional Chinese education model and the western education concepts are compatible, he told Xinhua. "The system continuously produces the top talents for the whole world."
"Encounter" is the educational philosophy of the international school, said Hübschmann, adding that the school offers a platform for cultural exchanges for Chinese and German students.
He said he hopes to strengthen relations between Germany and China by using the school as a platform to promote mutual understanding.
"This year is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany, and both countries focuses on all-embracing and innovative spirits, which are contributing to making a wonderful and diverse world," said Hübschmann.
We also want to contribute to this with our school projects and our encounter school between two cultures.
We want to be a lighthouse project for the bridge of friendship between the two countries.
