On March 27th, 2021 from 8:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., the Earth Hour event took place in the form of switching off public lights in thousands of cities all over the world.
The Earth Hour was launched by WWF Australia in 2007 and has been held every March since then. So it was again this year on March 27th at 8:30 pm local time: “Lights off. Climate protection on! " The lights on public buildings and in millions of private households went out for an hour. The aim of the Earth Hour is to draw attention to climate protection and to jointly set an example for a living planet.
We are very pleased that the students of the HuZ School have also made a contribution to this global climate and environmental protection action by switching off their lights for an hour.
We hope that we will be able to participate in large numbers in the next year too!
